I joined Wilshire Labs. in November 2017 where key responsibilities include the following:

 SOP Development
 Establishment of Internal Audit Function
 Planning and conduct of Internal Audit
 Testing the effectiveness and efficiency of control environment, Identification of control gaps and suggesting improvements
 Implementation of risk based audit strategy
 Supervision of pre-audit activates of certain transactions
 Preforming financial, regulatory, compliance and operational audits based on risk based audit strategy
 Ensuring compliance to internal policies
 Assisting management to identify and implement best Corporate Practices in the Company
Additional responsibilities assigned to me include the following:
 Assistance in the development of Fixed Assets Module in ERP
 Preparation and maintenance of Fixed Assets Register including data gathering, compilation and finalization in ERP
 Development of Budgeting mechanism
 Assistance in the development of Corporate Budget in ERP
 Assistance in restructuring Accounts and Finance Department
 Special investigations and other task assigned from time to time

I joined Diamond Foam in March 2017 in Accounts Department. Key job responsibilities were the following:
 Monitoring of Trial Balance, Provisions and monthly adjustments
 Preparation and finalization of monthly management accounts
 Supervision of monthly Sales Tax Return filing, monthly Withholding Statement filing and deduction of advance tax
 Finalization of purchase register
 Fund flow management
 Communication with suppliers & vendors and ensuring timely payments
 Supervision of junior accounting staff
 Assisting junior accounting staff in trouble shooting.
This role also involved the following:
 Supervision of accounting records and existing account management
 Daily coordination with banks for daily recovery and receipts
 Checking of daily and monthly reconciliation of bank statements
 Checking fixed assets register and ensuring period end depreciation adjustments

I joined Grant Thornton Pakistan under ICAP’s mandatory training in December 2012 which completed in May 2016.
During the tenure of my articles, I served in the ‘Business Assurance Services\' and \'Business Risk Services\'
departments. During my stay in there, I groomed myself from junior team member to Group Senior
level.
